OUR RATING BY EXTERNAL RATING AGENCIES:
ICRA LTD.
In May 2006 ICRA has assigned an A1+ (pronounced A one plus) rating for
the RS. 5000 million (enhanced from Rs. 4000/- million) short-term debt
programme of the Company. The rating indicates highest-credit-quality rating
assigned by ICRA to short-term debt instruments.
ICRA has retained the LAAA (pronounced L triple A) rating to the Rs.400
million long-term debt programme of the Company. The rating of LAAA is the
highest-credit-quality rating.
CARE LTD.
CARE has reaffirmed during January 2006 its rating of CARE AAA to
outstanding subordinated debt in the form of Promissory Note aggregating
Rs.40 crores issued by the Company. Instruments carrying this rating are
supposed to be of the best quality, carrying negligible investment risk.
